If it should waitI’ll say so

Give me a faded driveway that’s still solid and I’ll hand it back looking sharp. That’s the part of this job I actually enjoy.

Why I started this

01 / The reason

Why I started

This is my own neighbourhood, so doing it right is the only version I’m interested in.

02 / After the job

The number still works

People around here tell me the same story more often than they should have to. Someone shows up, does the driveway, and leaves behind a number that goes quiet. You get mine, and it stays the same after the coat is dry. Call in a month with a question and you get me.

What we do

  • Driveway sealing
  • Crack filling
  • Localized asphalt patching

We work on asphalt that’s still solid. Sealing is surface care. It won’t fix a failed base, major sinking, heaving or widespread interconnected cracks. If that’s what you’ve got, I’ll say so instead of selling you a coat that won’t help.

04 / Real work

The work up close

A few clips from real driveways. The open surface, the edge work, and how a bigger one gets done section by section.

The surfaceThe open middle gets one continuous pass. Start and stop too much and you can see it in the finish.
Along the edgeClose work along the edge. A clean line where the asphalt meets the grass makes the whole driveway look finished.
The wider viewBig driveways get done in sections, so nothing sits drying while I work my way across.
Wide residential asphalt driveway with the upper section coated and the lower section still uncoated.
In progressTop section done, the rest still to go. The line across the middle shows exactly what the coat changes.
Wide residential asphalt driveway fully coated with sealer.
FinishedThe same driveway with the whole surface done. One even colour, right out to the edges.

Where we work

We serve Ottawa and work throughout Prescott and Russell, including Russell, Embrun, Casselman, Limoges and The Nation. Many surrounding communities may also fit. If you’re nearby, send the address and we’ll confirm.

06

The boring part matters

Sweeping, edging, filling what should be filled. None of it photographs well, and it is the part that decides how long the black actually lasts. Then I tell you how long to stay off it, and you get to explain that to whoever parks without listening.

Want me to look at yours?

Send the address and whatever you know about the driveway. I’ll tell you what it needs, what it doesn’t, and what I’d leave alone for now.
